Danny is a Canadian musician, song-writer, and composer who has been deeply immersed in the world of music from an early age. His natural affinity for melodies and harmony, coupled with a love for pop, classic rock, funk, soul, and electronic music has set him on a path of musical exploration. 

From a young age, his passion for recorded music led to experimenting with a four-track tape recorder, allowing him to bring his musical ideas to life. As he entered his twenties, he discovered funk, jazz, and rare groove, through the formation of Halifax-based band, Dr. Yellow Fever, where he further expanded his musical horizons. During this period, he had the opportunity to spend a week in the well known Phase One recording studios, an experience that would cement his desire to continue on with the recording arts and technology.

In 2002, Danny made the move to Montreal, a city renowned for its vibrant music scene. There, he delved deeper into analog recording techniques, studying the craft and honing his skills as a engineer and music producer. As time went on, he was collaborating with local artists while primarily writing and recording music for national and international television ads, theatre productions, web content, and even toys. There were also placements of his work in an international fireworks festival, feature film trailers, and most notably, the USA Network’s hit series Suits.

While Danny’s artistic journey continued to evolve, the technical aspect of music production began to gain momentum in his career. His interest in technical direction roles within recording studios opened up new opportunities and avenues of growth. Currently, he works with an industry-leading music software company and gets to spend a lot of time with virtual synthesizers, which he loves.

Despite his multifaceted career, Danny remains deeply connected to his artistic roots. Constantly exploring new musical projects, he perpetually seeks creative outlets, even if they may never see the light of day. His dedication to both the art and technical aspects of music production is unwavering.
